DAS is excited to be part of Celebrating 10 years of Margaret Region Open Studios.
We would like to welcome everyone to our Pop up Art Exhibition and Sale.
Being held at our DAS art rooms, Gibney Street, Dunsborough.
16th – 25th September 10am – 4pm
DAS has two main exhibitions and a Pop-Up Sale featured on the annual calendar.
All attract a large number of visitors, and buyers, and are held at the Old Yallingup Hall, Caves
Road, Yallingup and at D.A.S., Art Rooms, Gibney Street, Dunsborough.
ANNUAL EXHIBITION – Summer Art Exhibition. January 6th – 14th 2024. Open 10am – 5pm. Held at Yallingup Hall, Caves Road, Yallingup.
POP-UP SALE – held over the Labour Day long weekend in early March, in conjunction with The
Dunsborough Arts Festival + Sculpture by the Bay. Painting demonstrations are held on the Dunn
Bay foreshore and the Art Sale is held at our art rooms on the Cnr Gibney St. and Gifford Rd.
Dunsborough.
SPRING EXHIBITION – held in September at the Old Yallingup Hall, Caves Road, Yallingup.
Also during the year there are other In House exhibitions hung in our DAS Art Room on the Cnr
Gibney St. and Gifford Rd., which are open to the public to visit.
Works in the Annual January Exhibition are judged, in categories, by a outside professional artist.
To qualify to have their art works hung and judged in this exhibition, members must have
attended at least six Wednesday or Thursday weekly art sessions. Only works painted during the
past twelve months and have not been previously exhibited (except for in-house exhibitions) can
be entered.
There is no judging at the Spring Exhibition and some previously exhibited works may be entered.
This also applies to the Pop-Up Sale.
We also have an In House Exhibition showcasing member’s art works for sale. Open Wednesdays & Thursdays 10.00am-2.00pm and Fridays 9.30am-4.00pm at DAS art rooms.
